Ear implants for the deaf with no strings attached

This is really going to give a boost to the people who really are in need of it.

Now a tiny microphone implanted in a person's ear will provide them with continuous hearing day and night. The technology is called as COCHLEAR implants.

These implants can't be worn all the time because only a small part of the device is actually inside the cochlea. A fragile external unit containing the power supply, processors and microphone has to be hooked onto the ear and linked magnetically to the implant beneath the skin.

Since it's not Water-Proof so,  Patients can't normally wear them in the shower, the rain or when they swim.

Inspite of the external sounds, a patient wearing this would also be able to hear some internal sounds too. That is also the upcomming challenge for the manufacturers to subtract the internal sounds so as to give the realistic environment for the patient.

Heavy Traffic making a fuss out of you??

Techies you need not worry about the heavy traffic from now onwards.

The Air-show in Bangalore was not just a show of F-16, Tejus, Super Hornet’s, Choppers, Sabb’s which undoubtedly can make our defense systems strong but there was something which temped my eye too.
The emerging technology is not owned by any company but there’s a single genius mind behind that “AK Wishwanath “who’s hard work will make the difference in your lives. From now onwards you need not stand on roads waiting for heavy traffic to pass by but you can just fly off the Traffic.
It is Maruti 800 of what I am talking about.
Yes, you need not shake your head for that as whatever you are reading is true enough.

MARUTI 800” was a part of air-show, and caught attention of many. It was not a Simple Maruti 800 but was the one which can make you fly over the traffic. Yes you heard that right again, it can make you fly.
The car has rotor blades on its roof and vacuum space besides its wheels. This, allows the car to lift up like an aeroplane. Hats off AKW. Day is not far when people will see us above them that too on road itself.

    Bluetooth Watch.

A new gadget for the new Techies is over here. Phones have done a number on watches--all too many people have ditched the wristwatch in favor of just whipping out their phones to check the time, which has led to the decline in sale of wrist watches badly, adversly affecting the manufacturers.

Casio has now come up with a new Idea which  uses Bluetooth to work with phones (in particular, Android smartphones), delivering crucial information and offering some pretty sweet new features, including a "find my phone" feature and caller ID.

Now no hustles if u have kept your phone somewhere and forgot, Casio's new Wrist watch is there to help you out finding your phone.

    Data Safe Wallets.

That's about a new technology, which has come up with a stylish new line of DataSafe Wallets for both men and women, specifically designed to protect these new smart card credit cards from wireless identity theft.

The DataSafe wallets incorporate radio-frequency (RF) shielding material to protect the data on the growing number of credit cards that feature the new "Contactless Smart Card Technology." The wallets are designed to complement the inherent security and encryption of the newer generation of these cards.

By incorporating shielding material into the wallet, this new technology provides a high-tech solution in a form factor that people understand. The wallet design is based off the Faraday Cage principle which is designed to stop the entry or escape of an electromagnetic (EM) field.

Enjoy the New Era of  Techie.
